Located in downtown Orlando, the Amway Center is home to the NBA's Orlando Magic. Amway Center is a state-of-the-art entertainment venue that seats up to 20,000 people and includes 60 luxury suites, 18 permanent concession stands and five full-service banquet rooms.
Amway Center features a 180 foot glass tower spire with LED lighting that will change colors depending on the event, along with the Sky Bar, which sits 100 feet above ground level and offers the best view of the city of Orlando. Amway Center also features a new practice facility for the Magic, including a practice court and weight room, training facilities, and new executive offices for the team's management.
Kirlin's work included the installation of 18 indoor air handling units, 8 custom air handling units, 4 desiccant air handling units, 3 hot water boilers, 212 fan coil units, 41 fan powered boxes, 159 variable air volume units, 4 computer room units, 106 fans, 1 triplex chilled water pumping package, 1 duplex heating hot water pumping package, 12 inline pumps and 17 unit heaters.
The Amway Center is the first NBA arena to achieve LEED Silver certification.
