LEED
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is a program designed to encourage the design and construction of sustainable green building technologies.
LEED certification is achieved through an objective process where buildings are designed and constructed to meet performance benchmarks in five key areas, including sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
At Kirlin, our experienced professionals have in-depth experience in building LEED certified plumbing and mechanical systems. Through design-build, design-assist and value engineering, Kirlin is an active participant in the LEED certification process.
Kirlin has built LEED projects throughout the country, including the Sidwell Friends School, the first LEED platinum school in the world and 1200 19th Street, a LEED Platinum commercial office building.
