2700 North Ocean is an ultra-luxurious, two-tower condominium development rising along the Atlantic shoreline on Singer Island in Palm Beach County, Florida. Clean, contemporary and curvilinear architecture allows for generous expanses of glass which optimize the views. The buildings were also strategically positioned on angles in order to further enhance the ocean panoramas.
Both of the 27-story towers house over 400 units. Tower A to the east features 92 condominium residences with four units per floor, except for the penthouse level which houses two units. Tower B to the west is comprised of a combination of units. There are 50 with direct elevator entry, plus 100 resort residences with lobby entry. The towers share an enclosed, two-story, fully-ventilated parking structure inside of which are a series of private, air-conditioned garages along with private storage units. Other amenities include an ocean view lobby, a large social room with catering kitchen, games rooms, a cinema-style theatre, a fitness/aerobics center with his/her saunas, two resort-style pools and spas, and the private poolside 2700 Grille.
Kirlin's mechanical scope on this project included four 1,100 gpm pumps; two 2,200 gpm cooling towers; two heat exchangers; two boilers; exhaust & supply fans; and a CO2 monitoring system for the garage areas.
