Lee Memorial Hospital Healthpark Medical Center – Miami, Florida
Lee Memorial Hospital Healthpark Medical Center is a large hospital expansion project in Lee County, Florida. Four stories were added to the existing five-story bed tower, two stories were added onto an existing Pediatric/ICU center, and a new ancillary building containing eight operating rooms added. The hospital now had 362 beds dedicated to pediatrics, intensive care and medical/surgical care.
Kirlin's project work included adding a new 650-ton chiller, tower and associated pumps, as well as a new 350 HP boiler and upgrading the feedwater system to the existing boilers. The plumbing scope included new steam powered domestic hot water heaters, medical air compressors, and a medical vacuum pump.
