Lakewood Ranch Medical Center – Miami, Florida
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is a 180,000 square foot, 120 bed acute care hospital encompassing an extensive system of fully integrated inpatient and outpatient services. The facility also consists of an adjacent 60,000 square foot medical office building, housing primary and specialty care physicians, the Lakewood Ranch Imaging Center and the Lakewood Ranch Blood Center.
Kirlin installed HVAC equipment including two 600-ton chillers, 100 four pipe fan coil units, 225 variable air volume boxes with hot water coils, two heating hot water boilers, 16 humidifiers and 41 exhaust fans. The chiller plant is located on the ground floor and major air distribution is achieved with thirteen custom rooftop air handing units. Our fabrication facility was also utilized with the production of the majority of HVAC piping in racks for timely delivery on site, thus instrumental in meeting the fast track schedule demands of the project.
