USAMRIID (US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases) is a Medical Defense Product Testing and Evaluation Building located on the Grounds of Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD. USAMRIID is a new 800,000 square foot 6 story Lab and Office building which will be used to conduct research on biological threats resulting in medical solutions.
Kirlin is furnishing and installing the mechanical piping systems which consist of Chilled Water, Tower Water, Heating Water, Condensate, Processed Water, Steam and Vent lines. We are also, providing the mechanical equipment which includes but is not limited to (106) Air Handling/Heat Recovery Units, (159) HEPA Filter Housings, Pumps, Computer Room Units, Fan Coil Units, Steam Generators, Humidifiers, Cooling Towers and Heat Exchangers. The Project is to be completed construction in 2013 with commissioning going into 2014.
