This award-winning renovation project features a sophisticated mechanical system designed to suit the needs of the building's varied tenant population.
The six-story, 1.2 million-square-foot project included the installation of a new mechanical and fire suppression system.
Postal Square's mechanical system is comprised of a large central plant containing four chillers with a total of 3,500 tons; a steam generator and steam station for hot water fintube heating; and all applicable support equipment and accessories.
The tenant areas are serviced by four mechanical rooms with two air handling units in each, CAV terminal units and perimeter fintube radiations on each floor.
