Lincoln Towers

One of the suburban Washington, D.C. area's most prestigious residential projects, Lincoln Towers consists of two 20-story apartment buildings. Totaling 900,000-square-feet, the property includes a retail component and belowgrade parking to accommodate the needs of the buildings' residents.
The design-build project was completed on a fasttrack basis to fulfill the owner's requirements for immediate tenant occupancy. Mechanical work on the high-rise apartments included installation of a water source heat pump system and a 100 percent flex and fiberglass duct system within the apartment units.
Ejector-type cooling towers were located on the roof levels of each building. The project's corridor heating and ventilation system utilized rooftop packaged units, which provide 100 percent outdoor air.
The building's plumbing system was redesigned during the course of construction to utilize high and low pressure systems for each building with individual water risers for individual fixture types within each unit.
